Who I Am

Jayme L. Walker is an experienced trial attorney dedicated to serving people who have been victims of wrongdoing and injustice.  Whether you are facing a wrongful termination, sexual harassment or abuse, discrimination, or injury due to the negligence of another person, a government entity or corporation, Jayme is a tenacious advocate that is known for her straightforward approach to litigation so you can get through the toughest experience of your life as quickly and as compassionately as possible.  You are not just your case. Jayme helps guide clients to justice by taking into account the whole person and what is best for their life, not just what is best for their lawsuit.  As a long time partner and now Of Counsel at the respected Oakland law firm of Gwilliam, Ivary, Chiosso, Cavalli & Brewer, Jayme has the experience and the resources to take on any Defendant to help you get the justice you deserve. 

Jayme is the 2021 past President of Alameda County Contra Costa County Trial Lawyers Association and an active member of San Francisco Trial Lawyers, Consumer Attorneys of California and California Employment Lawyers Association.  She is also trained as part of the Warrior One, Mindfulness in Law Teacher Training program in teaching mindfulness-based techniques to lawyers and clients to help reduce stress, build resilience and maintain joy in their lives.  She uses these techniques to help lawyers and clients in navigating the stress of litigation.  Jayme was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star every year from 2014 to 2023 and a Super Lawyer for 2024 -2026.  She has been named by the Legal Publication the Recorder as one of the attorneys in the Top 10 Leading Plaintiffs Bay Area Employment Law Groups and by U.S. News and World Report Best Women Lawyers as One to Watch. Ms. Walker is a frequent speaker on cutting edge trial and litigation practices as well as on mindfulness and reducing stress in the legal profession.
